BE and APPRECIATE YOUR TRUEST SELF.

For Who

These sessions are for when you feel like you just need some support.

  • If you’re getting ready for a parent-teacher conference and want some advice on how to approach the situation - I’m here to help.

  • If your nanny (or dare I say a grandparent) doesn’t use discipline techniques you like, I can help.

  • If you’re hoping for more formal therapy and are unsure what types might be a good fit, I can research with you and help prepare you for what it will be like.

  • If you’re going through a transition in life and need something consistent to help you feel grounded, I’m here for you.

  • I work with folx who may not feel welcome or comfortable in formal therapy spaces. I aim to keep the entire energetic space of Good Talks feeling as safe and homey as possible. When I offer group / community options, I want to ensure that this safe feeling covers every service.
The goal is not to exclude anyone based on gender, but instead to focus my offerings for people who may feel excluded elsewhere.
If you have questions, exceptions, please reach out.

  • If you are an educator or teaching team needing some support with your classroom, specific behaviors, or general reflection, I’m here to help you process and reflect in a safe and helpful space.

  • Anyone who has a child in their life and is looking for a resource for developmental support, behavioral questions, and all the unexpected things that come up with children - I love talking with you and I’m here to help!

Self Inquiry Guidance

For when you’re hoping to find a better understanding of yourself. We will find a fitting shared language to use together while processing situations, patterns, or reactions. In these sessions, we specifically blend the formal Family Systems Theory with more esoteric (fun) methods like reading your birth chart.

FUN FACTS ABOUT LINDSEY:

I love self-identifying with tools to find a shared language. From several different tools, I know that…

  • I’m a Cancer Sun, Gemini Moon, Scorpio Rising.

  • My Human Design is Manifesting Generator.

  • My Enneagram is 7w6.

  • My Ayurvedic type is Kapha.

  • I’m a reluctant fan of The Bachelor franchise (even Winter Games) and of several Bachelor-related podcasts.

  • I’m a new Maine resident, spent 5 years in Wisconsin, and Kansas is most home to me.

Behavior & Development Support

I’ve worked with children from age 2 to age 18 in a variety of settings. I love processing through a situation and finding problem solving opportunities. In these sessions, you will most commonly hear me say something like, “Behavior is language, so what are they saying?”

FUN FACTS ABOUT LINDSEY:

  • I’m an enthusiastic Auntie to four niblings who I adore.

  • I practice some behavioral methods on my pets.

  • Because I’m not a parent, I have the flexibility and the patience to work on parenting with you.

Timeline: Weekly or Bi-weekly

Crisis Quickie Session

For you when you just need a really good talk with someone about a situation that you’re going through, and probably aren’t looking for long-term regular sessions.

Book a quick solutions & support call to process together in a safe container. Usually a one-off with the option of a single follow-up check in. These could also be used to brainstorm other avenues for therapy that are a better fit than these services. We can talk about options and styles to look for, what to expect, and search together for a provider in your area.

Choose your Rate: $40, $80, $100 or $120
Timeline: 1-2 sessions

  • KIND WORDS

“Lindsey's calm, rational approach helped guide me through some issues with my child. She has the unique gift of knowing how to help both parent and child through things. The better equipped I am to handle various challenges, the better my child just naturally fares. That sounds obvious, but it isn't always. Lindsey has a lightness and a sense of humor that makes this all seem very organic, relaxing and not clinical at all. ”

    —NICOLE, parent

  • KIND WORDS

“Lindsey approaches challenging and sensitive situations with a rare gentleness, always leading with listening before making any assumptions. She meets children where they are from a position of informed curiosity, creating space for them, their teachers, and parents alike to feel safe and seen. Working through a challenge with Lindsey always introduced a sense of hope and direction, even when I felt overwhelmed and unsure of how to move forward. What Lindsey taught me about risk tolerance, sensory experience, and self-compassion not only changed the way I taught, but will change the way I interact with children and empathize with parents forever. “

    -CLARE, colleague

  • KIND WORDS

“Lindsey wholeheartedly puts the needs of her clients, co-workers and community at the forefront of everything she does. She is incredibly insightful, committed to equitable and inclusive practices and believes, and develops meaningful and trustworthy relationships with every human she encounters. My children were incredibly lucky to have her guidance and social-emotional support as students at the preschool where she previously worked - as a parent, I felt safe and confident that Lindsey would take any of our family’s concerns seriously and with great care.”

    — NOELLE, Parent

  • KIND WORDS

“Lindsey is incredibly kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. I can't stress this enough - she was such an advocate for my child, and for me as a mother, when my child was having social and emotional difficulties in preschool. Instead of trying to make my child fit into the classroom environment, she worked with my child to provide a safe outlet and space for them to go when they weren't able to regulate themselves. Every morning, she would meet me and my child at the entrance of the school to make sure their transition into the classroom went smoothly and they felt at ease. She would sit with him during circle time in the classroom and she even made time to bring him to a calm space if they were having a hard time during the course of the day. I didn't ask her to do this -- that's just how thoughtful she is. On top of everything else she had to do, and every other child she needed to help, she made time for my kid when they (and I) needed it the most. I will never forget this as it made such a difference in our lives.”
